Donna DeVoe Kelly, beloved wife, mother and grandma died Friday December 27th, 2024, at her Bloomfield Hills home surrounded by her family. Donna Kelly was a long-time member of TCHSWC and a close friend to many. She chaired many committees over the years she was an active member. In 2003, she was chair of the Annual Fall Gala, and it was one of the best because Donna was an artist and extremely creative and talented! She also was the chair of Special Events and planned a variety of interesting trips for our club. She chaired the Directory Committee and assisted on other committees. Donna’s friends will miss her along with many wonderful members who are no longer with us!

Sharon was resident of Birmingham, Michigan. She was an active member of The Birmingham Metropolitan Women's Club. She will be fondly remembered by those who knew her.

Jane M. Dwyer - October 20, 1943--October 25, 2024
Jane was a resident of Beverly Hills, Michigan. She died suddenly making her death difficult to accept. She was a TBMWC member and those members who knew her personally enjoyed her company and steadfast friendship. When asked to chair our Fall Fashion Show, she did not hesitate to do so. She chaired it for two years, arranging a commitment from Just Girls Boutique and selecting the models from our membership, overseeing the fittings and setting up the venue. She was a dear friend to so many and a treasured member of the Womens Club.

Bernice Mittelstaedt - age 100 of Beverly Hills

Bernice Eva Mittelstaedt, age 100, longtime resident of Royal Oak, Michigan passed away peacefully Monday, June 10, 2024. Bernice was a founding member of The Community House, Senior Women's Club in 1993. She was very active in the club holding several positions on the board such as Assistant Treasurer, Treasurer, Menus Chair for 3 years and Vision Mailing Chair for 3 years. Also, Bernice was a devoted Catholic and a member of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs parish since 1957. She was past president of the Ladies of Charity and treasurer of Christ Our Light 50-uppers. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Marion June Beck, age 95, of Rochester Hills.

Marion was a charter member of The Birmingham Metropolitan Women’s Club. She joined the Community House Senior Women’s Club in 1993, when it was first formed. She held many positions on the Board of Directors. The most significant position was that of Historian. She was the longest serving Historian, and served for 18 years, from 2002 and ending her tenure in March of 2020. Scrapbooking and photography were long-time favorite hobbies of hers. She exemplified her love for these throughout the many Women’s Club scrapbooks she compiled.
Esther Sklar Mintz, 94

Esther joined the TBMWC with her daughters, Julie and Cathy. It was always nice to see her at the luncheons, sitting with her daughters with a smile on her face. Our condolences to Julie and Cathy.

Joan was an active member of the Community House Senior Women’s Club, holding the position of luncheons chair in 1996 and 1997. In 2002 she was the 2nd Vice President, Membership Chair and worked on the Tea and Gala Committees several times. Her favorite job was scheduling seats for these events. She enjoyed attending TBMWC luncheons and greeting her many friends until it became difficult for her to do so.

Carol Lee Aubrey, 86
(July 7, 1936-April 21, 2023)
Carol was President of The Community House Senior Women’s Club in 2000 and was instrumental in having speakers for each luncheon, thereby making the luncheons not only a friendly get together with friends but very entertaining and informative as well. She continued to attend the TBMWC luncheons visiting with her many friends.
