December 2025 - MESSAGE FROM CO-PRESIDENTS
Great friends! Great food!  Beautiful clothes!  The TBMWC Fashion Show was a resounding success!  Thanks to everyone involved in the planning and management.  Our TBMWC models were wonderful in the clothes from Just Girls.
Thanks to everyone who bought a friend to share in one of the Club's signature events.  We had 38 guests!
Martha and Cheryl

September 2025 A Message from the Co-Presidents
TBMWC has a great atmosphere for making new friends, listening to wonderful programs, enjoying tasty luncheons, and having a great camaraderie with one another.
There are interesting programs for the rest of the year.  Share these with a non-member friend.
The Vision newsletter is an informative read for upcoming programs and other events.
If you have any questions about anything, don't hesitate to contact Martha or me.  Our contact information is in the directory.

June 2025  CO-PRESIDENTS' LETTER
We are incredibly proud of TBMWC's most recent philanthropic effort to support Grace Centers of Hope.  Once again, our members rose to the challenge and donated money, personal care items and household goods to improve the lives of the residents as they work hard to make a fresh start in life.  If you. have any items to donate, please consider donating them to one of their thrift stores to further assist them in their mission.
Hope everyone is enjoying the warmer weather and later sunsets!

MESSAGE FROM RETIRING
 CO-PRESIDENT - SUZETTE SWARTZ

It has been an honor to be TBMWC Co-President for the last two years.  The first year with Ann Duncan and the second year with Martha Hach.  Both women. have been wonderful to work with.  Thank you. I also want to thank the Board of Directors, Committee Chairs and our Special Committees.  Without them TBMWC would not be able to function and thrive.
I am looking forward to the year ahead with Cheryl Mangiapane who will serve as Co-President with Martha Hach.  I know I am leaving this position in good hands.  Cheryl will begin her tenure in early spring.  Until then, I will continue as Co- President.
December, 2024 CO-PRESIDENTS’ LETTER
Our monthly presentations have continued the TBMWC tradition of excellence.
The variety and quality of the speakers has been outstanding. The Iroquois Club welcomes us every month with plans to continue through next year.
At the same time, we have also suffered the loss of some wonderful women this year, most recently our Fashion Show Director Jane Dwyer. We are so proud of the way our members shared their condolences while helping to provide some comfort to the families.

June, 2024 Co-Presidents' Letter
Mother Nature has stopped teasing us and finally summer weather is with us.  Are you looking to get to know more members?  Many members have said they really felt a part of the club when they started participating in our interest groups.  For us, it was the Euchre Club.  Why not get started with our new group meeting up for the summer concerts in Shain Park?  We will gather Wednesdays at 7 pm starting June 12.
For more information, check out the Special Interest section of the Vision.

March, 2024 Message from
Co-Presidents Suzette Swartz and Martha Hach

We are happy to see the Club moving in a positive direction.  As we celebrate friendship and giving back to the community, please remember to support our efforts on growing membership.  Bring a friend or two to an upcoming meeting.  Share our website, tbmwc.com, and our Facebook page with potential members.  It is quite impressive and showcases our Club’s Mission, History and Activities.

December 2023 Message from the Retiring Co-President - Ann Duncan
Dear TBMWC Friends,
Thank you for all your support over the past few years in helping our club grow with the new name change and image.
I know that you will support our current Co-President Suzette Swartz and her new Co-President Martha Hach in 2024.  I would further commend the TBMWC BOD for their continued commitment and hard work.  THANK YOU!
It has been an honor and a privilege to have served the Club.  I am looking forward to attending our luncheons and enjoying the fellowship and programs.

September 2023 Message from the Co-Presidents

As TBMWC goes forward with its new image, which includes a new name and new
Bylaws, we are seeing an upswing in the growth of our membership and new members to the Board.  Behind the scenes, we have formed a committee to design a      Logo that will symbolize our motto of friendship, knowledge and service.

Please be aware of all the ladies who are members of the Board.  They offer their time and talents to keep our Club running.

And, please continue to familiarize yourselves with our Website and our Facebook page for past, present and future functions.  We welcome any ideas you may have that would help our Club to continue to thrive.

We look forward to seeing you at our future luncheons and appreciate your support.

Ann Duncan and Suzette Swartz

                   MESSAGE FROM CO-PRESIDENTS
                                        June 2023
Our Club is thriving, we now have 125 Members. We are continuing to be associated in spirit with the former Club, The Community House Women's Club.  But, we are going in a different direction than in the past.

We are continuing to find new avenues to benefit our membership.  Our annual tea is now called The Annual Spring Tea with a silent auction.  The proceeds are to benefit GraceCenters of Hope.  This is in keeping with our Mission Statement:

"The purpose of the Birmingham Metropolitan Women's Club shall be to provide fellowship, programs, and philanthropic activities for its members. Our goal is to provide friendship, knowledge and service."

In the past, we honored the past presidents at the tea.  We will now honor our past presidents at the Annual Meeting in January when we will also introduce the new officers and members of the board.

We are grateful to all the past presidents, and also the past and present board members who have all done so much to make our Club successful.

We continue to update our new website and encourage the members to follow us on Facebook.  Both sites can give members information on what's happening!
