EDSEL FORD HOUSE
Ms. Riashi was our tour guide through the National Historic Landmark in Grosse Pointe Shores-- The home of Eleanor and Edsel Ford where they raised their four children, most notably, "Hank the Deuce" who succeeded his grandfather, Henry Ford in running the Ford Motor Company upon Edsel's death. The very large house and gardens are open to the public.

Britta asked 3 questions to the members. Whoever's answer was the closest won a prize.
1. When was the house built? 1928; 2. When was the Ford house open to the public? 1978; and 3. What were the names of the Ford Children: Henry Ford II, Benson Ford, Josephine Clay Ford and William Clay Ford.
